Yes.: You may be confusing Celiac with Cyctic Fibrosis, however. Cystic Fibrosis causes loose stools, lack of sweat and short stature, among many other things ( lung disease) Celiac is gluten allergy, which also affects the gut, causes abdominal distension, flatulence sometimes loose stools, and growth failure. Do you have a newborn screening program in Barbados?
