Common: Can check a pregnancy test. not likely to be positive but a possibility. When on the patch or pill, sometimes over time the periods are light or even go away due to the thinning out of the uterus. if you are not pregnant then continue as directed and see if this happens the next month. if it does then you can have a discussion with your doctor about whether you want to take a break from the meds
