Misoprostol alone?: Did you use misoprostol alone or in conjunction with mifeprex (RU-486)? Misoprostol alone is less effective. In any event, the best way to tell if this worked is to follow a blood test. A quantitative beta-hCG should be checked now and in three days. By looking at what happens with this test result you can find out if the abortion worked.
