Devil in the details: Depends entirely on which valve and how much leaking. Some leaking of the tricuspid and pulmonic valve is 100% normal. Mild leakage of the mitral valve is technically "abnormal" but nearly universal and harmless. Mild leakage of the aortic valve is abnormal but well tolerated. Severe leakage should be followed by your heart doc and treated if certain criteria are met.
