Why is your 7 year old getting heart ultrasounds? This finding needs to be evaluated in the right context-does this child have a congenital heart defect? If so, which one? This finding may or may not be something of concern. You need to see your child’s doctor who knows all about your child’s medical history to determine how significant this finding is. Best of luck to both of you!
