OB care - routine: When you establish your OB care your doctor will discuss the RH status with you. Women who are RH (Neg) will be screened for any antibody in the blood that could cause problems and will be given a shot of Rhogam at about 28 weeks and again after delivery if it is confirmed that the baby is Rh (pos).
