Depends: If she is 42, possibility of tubal pregnancy there. Otherwise simple constipation possible. Get her checked out.

Gastritis vs colitis: if she is cold or has fevers or chills she should probably get a ct scan or at least an xray. she may have inflammation of the intestines called colitis which often times requires antibiotics to treat
