Depends: This depends on the med used and whether you should really be going in to the office or ER for care. The most common med will raise the heart rate and blood pressure, which are usually tolerated better in toddlers than adults. When rescue meds do not work at home, call or seek out an advanced level of care.

What's in the neb?: It depends what medication you are administering in the neb. If it is albuterol, which has stimulatory effects it may cause an increase in the heart rate, agitation, sweating, hyperactivity. If it is an inhaled steroid like budesonide, you should not see any acute side effects, however different studies show long term use may effect growth temporarily.
