Scabies: Permethrin cream (5%): apply to all areas of body from the neck down and washed off after 8-14 hours. Pretty safe, other treatments such as Lindane and ivermectin are contraindicated if you're pregnant or nursing. Recurrence is common, treat all household close contacts. Itching may persist for 1-2 weeks after therapy. Clothes, bed linens decontaminated by machine washing at 60°C
