Ebola Virus: Insects are NOT vectors for the Ebola virus. However, in THEORY only - if a fly was carrying ebola virus on the exterior of it's body (from direct contact wi an ebola source) -MAYBE it might track the contaminant to mucus membrane of a person. I don't believe that there is evidence that Ebola has been transmitted in this manner. It is just a theoretical concept - so please don't fret.
