Actually opposite!: Anti-De[ressants,particularly tri-cyclic Antidepressants DEPRESS (fatigue, dry mouth etc) before they "kick in" BE PATIENT....Its WORTH IT! When they start working the GLOOM WILL LIFT! GOOD LUCK Hope this helps Dr Z

Depression: It depends on what kind of anti-depressant you are on and if you are actually have manic-depression and not just depression. Also, you have listed no antidepressants under your medications. Instead you have listed medications that suggest you may be on disability without a definitive underlying pathology for possible secondary gain. If true, your prognosis for improvement are not good.
