High bilirubin : dark colored urine and increased bilirubin may be due to some form of hepatitis. Usually it's accompanied by right upper abdominal pain and jaundice-yellow sclera of the eyes. stool may turn pale clay color. There are multiple causes of hepatitis: viral, obstructive due to blockage in a gall bladder or from some medications. You need to see a doctor for further blood work and abdominal sonogram
