It depends: Vaginal discharge may be normal or abnormal. Many abnormal discharge are usually accompanied by an odor and may affect the vagina such as bacterial vaginitis (vaginosis) or trichomonas. Others such as genital mycoplasma, chlamydia and gonorrhea may ascend into the uterus and tubes and cause pain including cramping. If your symptoms persists or worsens you should see you doctor for an evaluation.
