It depends.: Masturbation won't hurt him physically. However, if he prefers to watch porn and masturbate rather than being intimate with you then there may be a problem. Counseling may help.

If he watches only : adult porn, watches it & masturbates only in private, keeps ALL porn locked away from your kids, & curtails pleasuring himself for work, parenting & spousal duties, it may not be an addiction, but marital counseling is vital if he won't engage in mutual problem-solving with you. If he won't go with you, seek individual therapy to help you think about what's best for you & safest for your kids.
