Zanaflex (tizanidine): if you have been on high doses of this medication abrupt withdrawal may cause side effects. You need to taper off of the medication. I suggest you return to your prescribing physician and describe what symptoms you are having. Work with him/her to mitigate the symptoms you are having as you reduce and eventually stop this medication.
