TRANSVERSE LIE: Baby is in a floating position before term. Your OB usually can still change baby's position before delivery. Not sure what month they do it. Get assurance from your OB that everything will be alright. Good luck!

Yes: If you know you have fibroids or other uterine anomaly, there is a higher chance of unusual fetal position, like a transverse lie. This may interfere with any conversion to a deliverable position.A c-section may be in your future.
