Canker sores: Canker sores are not pleasant and can be painful and uncomfortable. Canker sore is the most common oral lesions. Individual ulcers typically last 1-2 weeks. The condition is idiopathic (the cause is not known) and recurrent aphthous ulcers are usually self-limiting. There are various causes for canker sores; but sovaldi or Ribavirin are not.

Possibly: The medication has been associated with mouth sores or ulcerations. Do they cause canker sores? Probably not. Canker sores are an auto-immune reaction. Some trigger can cause a breakout. Stress, and low body resistance, like from illness, can trigger these sores. Being sick can allow other reactions or sores from viral or other virulent bugs. Topical medication or oral rinses may help to cope.
