A member asked:

Is it possible to get hormones administered according to your circadian rhythm, or will more research have to be done first?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Circadian rhythm: Some hormones certainly are circadian. Cortisol in particular, which is why hydrocortisone replacement is usually a higher AM dose, and don't take the PM dose too late (may keep you up). GH and T are also circadian, but it is impractical to mimic the rhythm, and I am not aware of data that it matters. Thyroid is not circadian.
