Abnl LFT: Hi, It is very well possible that elevated AST is related to symptoms that you r experiencing, I'm not sure why you have Cipro (ciprofloxacin) on hand, to prevent what? What's ur ALT and the rest of liver function, knowing the rest of liver function it's important in making a differential diagnosis, plz see your PMD for further evaluation including Ultrasound, more blood test and possible referral to liver doc.
