A member asked:

I have a sore feeling under both knees. can this be a sign of growing?

It could: but usually that does not affect both limbs at the same time. I suggest yo go visit your doctor to see what is going on with your knees.

COULD BE: Not sure if you are referring to some joint pain but it is possible that this is just "growing pain" if nothing else is going on. I would try to speak with your pediatrician for more details and a physical exam.

Very much so: This is a common location for "growing pains" to occur. I would suggest to you if your pain is severe, in the joints, or persistent, or occurred after an injury then you should seek an in-person evaluation. Remember, you are a minor, so please mention this to your parents, so that they can help manage this issue with you too.

Yes: But not "growing pains" as some call it. Patellofemoral syndrome would be at top of list for someone of your age and sex. Recommend good sports med doc eval to help diagnose/treat this problem. Hope this helps.
