A member asked:

Fast pulse on the left side of neck ?

Should be the same: The pulse should be the same on both sides of the neck, the arms, and the legs. They should also be synchronized. It is best for someone else to take it- it is difficult for us to measure two pulses on ourselves at the same time.

More details: How fast is your pulse. You can almost always feel your pulse in your neck below the corner of your jaw, on both sides: the carotid arteries. Too fast would be over 120, generally, although this depends on age and medications you might be taking. Do you feel fine otherwise? If you have symptoms of a fast pulse, dizziness, shortness of breath or chest pain then you need to call 911.
