I'm taking celexa (citalopram) (which is helping with stress & nerves) but feel tired and unhappy like most of the time what can i take for energy?

How long in celexa (citalopram)?: Anxiety and depression cause decreased energy, so even though the medication is helping it may not be fully controlling the disease. If you just started taking, give it more time. If not, talk to your doctor to see if they think the disease is controlled, if it is then they can look for other causes / explanations.

1st try health: Before you add medications that might cause side effects - evaluate your life-style. Do you eat nutritious, moderate meals? Do you get good rest and sleep? Do you keep active and exercise properly? Do you damage cells w/ substance use - tobacco, alcohol, etc? Do you have a caring, fun social life? Are you fortunate to have enough money and time to do what you like? If these are okay, see your Dr.
