Off label: The trend towards trying anything to treat difficult conditions is well established now. I'm very uncomfortable with it personally, but it's common. I believe it is in large part an Expectancy effect and that's a major component of many medications. If you suffer no bad effects and it works for you - who can argue? But neither is it likely that anyone can tell you "Why" Best!
