Possible Neuroma: If the pain is between the third (middle toe) and the fourth toe (the one next to the little toe) this is likely a morton's neuroma...A pinched or enlarged nerve. Wearing wider shoes and avoiding tight shoes and socks can help. Injecting cortisone or an alcohol sclerosing solution in the area can help. Surgical excision would be a last resort if conservative treatments are not adequate.
