Commonly 20s - 30s: Approx.4% risk in persistent or previously corrected intra-abdominal testis becoming malignant. Risk progressively less when testis is or was outside abdomen in groin & even less if lower. "Cure" rate, with treatment, nowadays, is about 98% if diagnosed early. Certainly needs 2B removed. Might require chemotherapy &/or radiation in addition to surgery depending on type & extent of cancer.
