Psych eval: Really understanding what's going on will take getting to know you quite well. I expect you can find a doctor who will prescribe some medication that might make these go away, but you'll not know "Why?” If you want to - consider a therapist you can trust to talk about things and learn ways to live more successfully. They can work especially well together for most!

One possibility: is focal seizures. Get an EEG !. Focal seizures can involve a small patch of the cerebral cortex. Typically focal seizures last 5-6 minutes. Depending on which area of the brain is involved one can experience just about anything for a few minutes (rage, fear, elation, depression, visual disturbances, parasthesias, odd noises, strange smells, jerking of body parts, autonomic symptoms, etc)

DEPRESSION: Get an evaluation from a psychiatrist to help identify what depression means to you and whatever else may be bothering you. Consider recommendations for medication if any are given. Get a referral for a reputable psychotherapist to speak with. Meds and therapy combined are most optimal; no just one or the other.
