A member asked:

Microalbumin ur <0.5 creatinine ur 12.5 ratio unable to caculate. is this normal?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Yes: The urine microalbumin to creatinine ratio is a measure of protein in the urine. It is a marker of kidney disease and of vascular (blood vessel) disease. Less than 30 is considered normal. Above 300 in diabetics is considered diabetic nephropathy (diabetic kidney disease). In between is considered borderline. If the microalbumin in your urine is too little to be able to calculate a ratio, good!
