Normal: Your son does this because it feels good! It's best not to make too much of an issue of this. Redirect his attention to other activities and suggest that this behavior is more appropriate to be done privately. Sexual abuse is also a consideration, so please ensure he stays safe. However, it is not at all unusual for young boys to do this.
