A member asked:

New doc said i have c1c2 laxity. could this cause once rare migraines to shift to almost daily aura usually w/o headache or w/relatively mild pain?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Yes: Please see a Neurologist ASAP and consider referral to Neurosurgery. A change in headache frequency or nature from baseline is a red flag for possible expanding vascular lesion, may or may not be related to cervical spine findings. Joint laxity may accompany a connective tissue disorder affecting vasculature.
