Allergies: If you have had a runny nose for years, it may be related to your environment -- either home, pet or outdoor allergies. There are several over-the-counter options you can try to see if they help your symptoms. Allergy medications can usually be found in the cold and flu isle at your local pharmacy. If that's not helpful you may wish to follow-up with and ENT physician.
