I have a blocked nose and a cough and slightly stiff muscles, i feel well enough to do basic things like watch tv and eat but not much else. however i have now found that i have a small red dot on my arm and am scared of meningitis.

You flunked the quiz: Sounds like you haven't bothered to find out what the symptoms of meningitis are. I fail to see what the red dot has to do with it. Do you have a fever, headache or stiff neck? If not, you don't have meningitis. I hope you were better at doing your homework in school than this. In any case, you can relax. You don't have Ebola or anything; at least not so far.
