Yes.: It is time for you to get at least another tetanus toxoid vaccine. If you did not complete your basic series of tetanus vaccines you may also need tetanus immune globulin.

Yes,: Although the cat scratch is irrelevant to the answer to your question. If you have not had a tetanus shot for over 30 years you are well overdue. Please get your flu vaccine at the same time.
