Hard to tell: If you had eaten recently that might be normal. If you were fasting, that is elevated but doesn't necessarily mean you have diabetes. It means you require further testing and advice from your primary care. Thanks for trusting HealthTap!

Depends: If the test was taken under fasting conditions, the blood sugar level is a little high. Otherwise, it is normal.

If a person fasted before the blood test (for example, a person is tested after a night of sleep and hasn’t eaten yet), a blood glucose of less than 100 is normal. If a person did not fast before the blood test, then a blood glucose of less than 200 is normal.
