Post-partum bleeding: Although you had no tears or sutures and 5 weeks is ample time to heal vaginal lacerations from giving birth, it would be prudent to see your OB-Gyn physician for an exam to rule out other causes of vaginal bleeding such as infection, polyps, fibroids, etc and bleeding disorders, and thyroid hormone levels.
