Doc,i have hemmoroids i felt itching and little bit swelling..is bevason bethamethasone valerate ointment is good for hemmoroids?

Hint: mix a bean sized drop of betamethasone cream with a bean sized drop of PreparationH- apply with glove or finger cot 4x/day. Also sitz baths 4x/day

No: 1% Hydrocortisone containing ointment or suppository used twice a day, with hydration, stool softener, Sitzs bath will help.

Hemorrhoids: Topical steroid cream may help to shrink the hemorrhoids. Dibucaine is a topical anesthetic that is specifically used for hemorrhoidal pain and itching. Sitting in a tub filled with 3-5 inches of warm water (known as a sitz bath) may provide some local relief as well.
