My b-i-law was n a mine explision in vietnam.his leg is severely damaged with bad cirulation.he has severe cramps.what can he do when they occur?

More info: I am sorry he is having these issues. My best recommendation is for him to go to a VA Hospital or a military hospital if he is able to be seen there and be evaluated properly. In the interim, he may use cool or warm compresses to areas involved and may try motrin if he is not allergic to it. Depending on his weight, the dose may vary. He should follow info on label.
