See doctor: Hi. It sounds worrisome to me. I don't know the state of your diabetes control or your complications, but "warm and pop rocks" makes me think of infection and gas in the tissue (I could be totally wrong, but with no in person interaction, that's what your description makes me think). It's now Saturday; your appointment's on Tuesday. If it's something bad, you should be seen sooner. Good luck!
