CDNH: Could be chondrodermatitis nodularis helicis (inflammation of the cartilage). Treatment includes avoiding pressure on the ear (sleep on the other side) and topical or injections of steroid. If you don't think that diagnosis fits (google some pictures) see a Dermatologist for diagnosis.
