A member asked:

My mother is taking blood pressure pills and sometimes she misses a day. how dangerous is this?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Common: This is common. Studies document many people miss their meds. That doesn't mean it's good. When she misses, her BP rises and she doesn't receive the benefit of treatment. To help, buy her a pill case with places for all her meds for the week, available in pharmacies. Then she can check if she's taken it or not. Time taking meds with something she automatically does like meals or brushing teeth.
