Glandular malignancy: adenocarcinoma represents tumor arising from glandular structures such as those of breast, colon, stomach, lung, ovary in contrast to sarcoma which is the malignancy of supportive structures of the organs in which adenocarcinoma arises. Here we see leiomyosarcoma of stomach wall or uterus. Microscopically one sees mutations and alterations in the normal glandular structures giving dx of adenoCa.
