Black Stool ??: If your stool is black, that is an indication of blood in the stool. The longer blood has been in the GI tract the darker it gets. Black stools could indicate a bleeding ulcer. Do you have any other symptoms? Light headed? Dizzy? weak? history of heartburn or acid reflux?... You need to be seen and evaluated as soon as possible.
