Probably: Allergic problems with the eyes commonly follow a seasonal pattern and summers are a great time for the release of pollen and other allergens. Next time this happens, see your ophthalmologist if you need relief although most allergic eye disease is unpleasant but not dangerous and you could last through the season with over the counter anti-allergic drops.
