Breast/colon cancer: Xeloda (capecitabine) (www.xeloda.com) is used to treat both breast and colon cancers. Check out http://www.drugs.com/xeloda.html for more info. Consider having a family member accompany her to each of her appointments. A second pair of ears is always helpful. Be sure to bring all medications (from all doctors) + over-the-counter stuff to each visit.

Xeloda(capecitabine): Sorry to hear about her diagnosis. Check out http://www.drugs.com/dosage/xeloda.html for more info. Xeloda (capecitabine) is intended for use in colon & breast cancer. 3,000mg is pretty standard dose. Best to discuss your concerns w/your grandma and her oncologist. Good luck.
