5.9 = 224: Your raw or total cholesterol is not a useful number as it consists of both bad (LDL) and good (HDL) fractions. You need to check the components - you may be at very low risk! If your HDL is >1.55 (60 mg/dl), that's very good. IF not, do you have family hx of high cholesterol? If so, you may require medication to lower it. Your wt and training are big pluses for you!
