Relapsing Neuropathy: CIDP or chronic inflammatory demyelinating polyneuropathy is an autoimmune disease with antibody attack on peripheral nerve causing weakness and sensory problems. Relapses and attacks have been reported. Condition is treated with IVIG (intravenous gamma globulin). Usually pain is not a common symptom.
