Dr. Andrew Barnes answered

Specializes in Pediatrics

Brain, bones, muscles: Neurologists deal with diseases of the nervous system (brain, spinal cord, and peripheral nerves), including disorders of movements. Orthopedists are surgeons who deal with problems of bones and joints. Sports Medicine deals with muscles and soft tissues (and bone fractures) that might be injured while playing a sport.
