How can i make my liver function again?

Likely nothing: If you have cirrhosis (end stage) there is likely little you can do. If you have dysfunction from an acute insult then it may recover with removal of that insult (ie alcohol , virus). See your GI for more advice.

Where is the liver and what is its function?

Specializes in Hepatology
Right upper side: Your liver is in the right upper quadrant of your abdomen, usually tucked under the ribs. It has multiple roles in bodily function but is primarily considered a digestive organ.
