Need more info.: Doctors treat patients, not tests. A single lab value requires additional information in order to properly interpret it. All labs come with a range of "normal" values. This is the range of values expected for healthy individuals. Unhealthy people can have normal values and vise versa. Best to consult with the physicial who ordered the test to answer your question.

It's relative: Safe to say that 2-3x the normal value may need careful evaluation of the cause - e.g. Side effects of meds like cholesterol pills, alcohol, pancreatitis, gallbaldder disease, genetic disorder, viral hepatitis, heart failure. High liver tests usually correlate with signs and symptoms- abdominal pain, jaundice, nausea, vomiting etc. Take care!
