The past couple weeks my hearing has been dulling down, when people talk to me i can hear their talking but can't make out what their saying.

Wax?: Since it is recent onset and affecting you significantly, it may be something as simple as too much ear wax. See your doctor to have this checked

Wax build up?: Most common reason for sudden decrease in hearing is Wax or water bulit up. Please get the ear checked and if there is wax can be removed using OTC wax removal Devise or ear can be lavaged at Doctor's office. Have you travelled in plane or at a higher Altitude?
