No flu shot if.....: Current 2014 CDC contraindications to the flu shot include: previous allergic reaction to flu vaccine, infants under 6 months of age. People with egg allergies MAY be candidates for flu vaccination. Precaution is advised for those with history of Guillain–Barré Syndrome within 6 weeks of a previous flu vaccine, and those with current moderate to severe illnesses.
